Stephen Higgins

Graduate Student

Biography:

Stephen Higgins is graduate student pursing an M. S. in Engineering and is one of Dr. Davis’ research assistants. Stephen received his B.S. in Physics from Georgia College and State University. His current research interest and investigations are focused on flow-induced vibration in bellows expansion joints. When not studying Stephen enjoys reading and flying R/C airplanes.

Biography:

Michael Reed is an undergraduate Biological Engineering major that will be graduating this May. He intends to continue on into graduate school. His current research interests are the use of engineering applications to aid or augment biological systems and finding ways to reuse or access wasted energy in different systems.

Jennifer-Derry Molton

Undergraduate Student

Biography:

Jennifer-Derry Molton is a sophomore student at The University of Georgia where she is studying Environmental Engineering. Jennifer is aid Dr.Ben Davis in his studies of Vibrational Self-Assembly as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. After college, Jennifer plans to go on to grad school where she might pursue her other interest in Robotics, Mechanics, or Aerospace Engineering. Other interests include reading, painting, and writing.



Sean Taylor

Biography:

Sean Taylor is an undergraduate student studying Agricultural Engineering with a Mechanical systems emphasis. He is originally from Savannah, Ga where he attended Herschel V. Jenkins High School and participated in the Project Lead the Way program there. His research is focused on the natural frequencies of submerged structures.
